In today’s episode of Counselor on Call, Let’s talk about ending the year well and looking forward to 2022!
I know that you’re thinking, but it’s only November! I believe it is important to start thinking about ending the year well so we can go into 2022 with a fresh new outlook.
So, how do you end your year well?
The first step is to let go of disappointments that we experienced this year. Let’s be honest there were lots of things that could have been disappointments. Maybe it was a job loss? Or perhaps a health diagnosis?
Process of letting go of disappointments:
- Process your emotions
- Gain perspective
- Identify things you’ve learned
- Practice self-compassion and forgiving yourself
I want you to be able to step in the purpose God has called for you. I’m super excited about the coming year, and all that a new year brings! Today all we are doing is pulling the weeds out of our growth garden, getting it ready for the seeds.
Ephesians 2:10 – ” For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
