We are starting a new series this month about shame. I love Brene Brown’s definition of shame, “Shame is the intensely painful feeling or experience of believing that we are flawed and therefore unworthy of love and belonging – something we’ve experienced, done, or failed to do makes us unworthy of connection.”
Through this series, you’ll hear important stories about how shame keeps us from our true selves. I hope these conversations inspire you to see your true self, your God-designed self. I hope you bravely challenge shame patterns and learn tangible ways to release shame.
We are starting off the series with Denise Pass, she’s author/Speaker/Worship Leader/Songwriter/CCM Artist/Podcaster. She loves to create and find new ways to communicate God’s lavish grace and forgiveness.
She wrote two books, “Shame Off You” and “31 Days to Hope Reinvented“, from a place of needing to heal and find answers as well as a burning desire for her suffering to not be in vain—she just wanted to help someone else overcome, too.
