Tired of dieting? Struggling with your body image?
If you nodded yes to these questions, you are going to love today’s episode.
It’s no shocker that most of struggle with food, body image, and exercise. According to the National Eating Disorder Association, up to 50 percent of Americans have a “disordered” relationship with exercise, their body, and food.
My hope is that you would begin taking care of yourself like you are taking care of a good friend.
I just loved my conversation with Brittany Braswell, who is a Registered Dietitian and Nutritionist. We talk about how to create a better connection with food, what happens when we feel disconnected in our bodies, intuitive eating, and what are the barriers to a good relationship with food.
Listen in to learn more about:
- What is intuitive eating?
- Brittany’s journey and her passion for helping women find food freedom and freedom from body shame?
- The 7 needs most women to struggle with in their relationship with food.
- What are the barriers to recognizing signals like hunger and fullness?
- Why it can also be helpful to talk about why body positivity isn’t necessarily the goal.
